# Radical Queer License v1.0

## Preamble

This license is based on the some parts of https://oql.avris.it/ - I wrote it since the OQL didn't seem comprehensive enough - and partly inspired by https://aria.dog/barks/forklift-certified-license/#forklift-certified-license , which in turn are inspired by multiple other fun anti-capitalist anti-cop licenses. (Oh, and the blessed WTFPL, of course.)

It's to serve as both a mundane license and a declaration of some basic ethical standards. I do not want you using my work if you're a state-licensed murderer/torturer or any kind of fascist or sympathise with any of the aforementioned, in fact those people oughta fuck all the way off. I do not want you using my work if you're an exploitative corporation. And if that gives someone at the FSF an aneurysm then so be it.

Otherwise, it's pretty much a do whatever as long as you credit me and don't make your project blatantly proprietary in spirit.

## Contributor License Agreement

Unless you clearly state otherwise at the time of your contribution, by sending any contribution, including but not limited to Git patches or merge requests, to the the creator(s) of this Work (“The Licensor”), you grant them the right to do whatever the fuck they want to with it (including distributing the Work under another license or a revised version of this one in the future).

## Permissions 

The Licensor grants permission to any entity or group of entities that doesn't violate the prohibitions below (“The User”), to do whatever the fuck they want to with this Work, subject to the following conditions:

The User may not directly sell this work;

Should the User modify this Work in a trivial or unsubstantial manner, the User may not directly sell it, and if published, it must remain under this license.

Should the User modify this Work extensively or employ it or parts of it as part of their own work, their work must be licensed so as to allow any private individual without a profit motive not excluded by this license's prohibitions to do whatever the fuck they want to with it. Such works must not use this Work's identifying brand elements.

In either case, the User must provide appropriate credit to the original Work, and may not imply an affiliation with or endorsement by the Licensor where there's none.

## Prohibitions (The Fun Part)

This Work may not be used by any entity or for any cause that holds, promotes or acts on bigoted values, including racism, xenophobia, queerphobia, any other manner of sex- or gender-based prejudice, pluralphobia, ableism, casteism, and ageism. 

This Work may not be used by any entity or for any cause that promotes, seeks to excuse or performs any violations of universal unconditional rights including but not limited to the rights to life, shelter, hygiene, sustenance, healthcare, bodily autonomy, privacy, dignity, self-determination, freedoms of opinion, expression, association and assembly, movement irregardless of state borders, as applied to any sapient entity. 

Thus, this Work may not be used by any law enforcement, immigration enforcement, carceral or military institutions or organizations, as well as any individuals employed by or otherwise acting in support of them.

This Work may not be used by any entity holding any amount of software patents. 

This Work may not be used by any business with the ratio of pay (salaried, freelance, stocks, or other benefits) between the lowest- and highest-paid individual greater than 10:1, or an amount of employees over 100. 

## Sanctions

If the Licensor notifies the User that they have not complied with the rules of the license, they can keep their license by complying within 7 days of the notice. If they do not do so, their license is revoked immediately. 

## No warranty

This Work is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The Licensor will not be liable for any damages related to the Work or this license.
